Placement tests help students determine their inclination in their present strands, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management), and HUMSS (Humanities and Social Science). The results assess students’ achievement, aptitude, and interest that matches the requirements of their academic strand. It also helps students develop the competencies needed in their chosen strand.
For us in the Wellness and Testing Center, as well as all in formation work, the results would help us assist students in decision-making in choosing their appropriate strands, eventually their career path.
In terms of the Office of the Asst. Director for Academics, the Placement Test Results will aid us in enhancing our academic instruction and program. Our enhancement programs are based on the needs of our learners.
